Track Name: Waiting List
Another house sinks into the ocean.
Everybody's dying, why should we fare better than them?
The hero with the gun says to listen.
If we stick together, then nothing will happen.
But how can that be true when we've lost so many?
No, I won't be next...

Oh, let me out 'cause I can't cope.
I need a place to call my home.
And this is not a home, no, this is just a prison cell.
Oh, let me out, I'll have my say.
I won't stay here another day.
'Cause I think it's time we had a good look at ourselves.
We're just on the waiting list to hell (don't you know it)
We're just on the waiting list to hell

Tell me I'm frightening the children.
Well, maybe we should be 'cause false hope will get us nowhere.
I'm not quite sure what we're doing.
They tell us not to worry, but how about a reason?
'Cause it seems that a little love and luck won't cut it
If there's nothing else...
Track Name: Blame the Scientist
I think there's something wrong with me.
I may suffer from insanity.
But that hasn't stopped me yet
From playing with my chemist set.
Someday I'll learn what all these labels mean.

You may think that I'm irresponsible
But it doesn't really matter now.
When the world's all fallen to hell
And the human race ain't doing so well
You know exactly who they'll blame...
On the guy who thought it'd be fun
To pass a potion off to someone
That made the poor guy crave the taste of brains

I got a new shipment today:
A bunch of chemicals with impressive names.
I'm not quite sure what they do
So I'll have to test them out on you.
I really wish you'd stop trying to run away.

I got my patient locked inside a cage.
He hasn't touched his food all day.
The only time he ever talked
He said he was going to rip my head off.
I'm starting to wonder if he's really okay.

So just blame the scientist.
Just blame the scientist.
Just blame the scientist now...

My patient said he was so hungry.
I thought I'd be nice and let him free.
That idea proved kind of dumb
But how could I know that when we were done
He would go on a massive killing spree?

Just blame the scientist now...
Track Name: Thank the Scientist
This lab seems so empty
Ever since my intern went away.
He really showed such promise
Until he went and damned the human race.
And yet people keep on telling me
It's not his fault and I'm to blame
For not showing the foresight
To keep my intern locked up in his cage

They say I should have been smarter
Should have known better
But that's just not how science should work.
Yeah, some people are dying
The city's in ruins
But think of all the great things we have learned...

About motor skills, about our urge to kill
About how long it takes before we start to rot
About hand grenades, and about first aid
And how badly it hurts to have your legs ripped off.
And if these things matter to you
Then thank the scientist.

This lab's still so empty.
Maybe I should let someone inside.
There's plenty of food and water
To keep a couple families alive.
But I kind of like my privacy
And I really don't like sharing my supplies
So I'll keep the lab in lockdown
And do my best to ignore their tortured cries.

They scream I should have been smarter
Should have known better
But that's just not how science should work.
Yeah, some people are dying
The city's in ruins
But think of all the great things we have learned...

About human brains, about how to aim
About how fast you'll turn after you've been bit
About guns and knives, about eating right
And how to tell a parent that that's not their kid.
And if these things matter to you
Then thank the scientist.

This lab's not so empty
Ever since I let them come inside.
So now I've got new subjects
And there's so many formulas to try.
Yeah, I'm ready to make history
One screaming patient at a time
So I'll make a couple potions
And tell them all they'd better open wide.

They said I should have been smarter
Should have known better
But that's just not how science should work.
Yeah, some people are dying
The city's in ruins
But think of all the great things we have learned...

About human rights, about compromise
How obvious it is that I've done nothing wrong
About brain disease, and hypotheses
And how to change the world while playing God.
And if these things matter to you
Then thank the scientist.
Track Name: Open Season
Another killing
Another one gone before her time.
We tell our children
This is why we don't go outside.
And it's a shame...
How'd our country come to this?
And what can we do?
Is this even something that we can fix?

That's why I've gathered you here today.
Let's steal our land back for the human race.

It's so tragic, yeah, it's so sad.
And we're responsible for taking our country back.
So grab your pitchforks and grab your knives
And tell everyone you know to join the genocide.
'Cause it's time we taught those zombies how to die.
So come on, open season starts tonight.

So if you're thinking
Let those slayers do their job
Then we don't need you.
We only need psychopaths for this mob.
So if you're grieving
Or you're just looking for blood to spill
Then come on, let's move out
And comb these woods for things to kill.

So light your torches and load your guns.
Let's go find our dead friends and have some fun.

So we'll roll our windows down
And we'll shoot them from our cars.
Watch their bodies hit the ground
And then we'll hack their limbs apart.
'Cause that's all it means
To be a hero in society today
And that's really all we are...
A bunch of killers without hearts.

That's why I've gathered you here today.
Let's commit some violence for the USA.
Track Name: Slayer v. Science
You're just too good at killing things.
That is why I've brought you here today.
'Cause I've got monsters left to make
And I'm running out of zombie slaves.
It's nothing personal, I swear
It's just you're always getting in my way
And I'm so sick of guys like you
So I'm going to make you pay.

You can look into my eyes.
You can ask me why I'm on their side.
But I'm never gonna tell you why.

(Really need a reason) Do I really need a reason why?
(Really need a reason)
Do I really need a reason why you're going to die?

So all the guys back at the lab
Say I'm never going to succeed.
My evil plans are just a joke
But when they meet you then they'll see.
Oh, hold the phone, you heard me right.
You're gonna be my new zombie breed.
You'll be the perfect prototype:
An ungodly death machine.

And you may feel a little pain
When I modify your brain
And I infect you with the zombie strain.
So let's get this mutation underway.

Hey, where'd you go? It's just not right.
Did I tell you you could leave
When there's still data left to mine
And my tests are incomplete?
I thought that slayers should be brave.
Tell me, why are you trying to flee?
If you were a better man
Then you'd stay here with me.

You could look into my eyes.
You could ask me why I'm on their side.
Guess you're never gonna find out why.

(Really need a reason) Do I really need a reason why?
(Really need a reason)
Do I really need a reason why you're going to die?
'Cause I'm an evil and sadistic kind of guy
And that's why.
